VirtualHip Used Intraoperatively for the First Time in PAO Surgery
VirtualHip was used intraoperatively to support acetabular fragment correction during a periacetabular osteotomy (PAO). The process involved rapid 3D analysis of intra-op O-Arm imaging during the surgery. This work was also presented at Boston Children's Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Research Retreat, by Dr. David Liu, where it was honored with the Audience Choice Award.
